Our client, a global financial services and insurance organization, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to help build high‑performing agile teams from the ground up. This hybrid role (on‑site in NYC or Northern NJ) is ideal for a hands‑on leader passionate about team development, collaboration, and driving meaningful change.

Top Requirements:

• PI Planning (must‑have)

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish core agile practices and ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Build strong agile/team practices within matrixed teams and collaborate with fellow Scrum Masters for alignment.
• Remove impediments, foster team productivity, and enable self‑organization.
• Facilitate decision‑making, manage risks/dependencies, and ensure smooth delivery.
• Track team metrics (velocity, burn‑up charts) and report progress.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize work effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement and agile maturity across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with vendor partners to ensure efficient, incremental delivery.
• Participate in Communities of Practice to support organizational learning.
