Job summary

NS2 Mission in the Northern VA area seeks an Expert Scrum Master to support mission-critical software development for the Intelligence Community. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams toward high-quality delivery.

As a servant leader, you will partner with Product Owners, Technical Program Managers, Release Managers, and engineers to manage backlogs and track progress while promoting continuous improvement across the SDLC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Partner with Product Owners to maintain, prioritize, and refine product backlogs.
Remove obstacles and resolve impediments that impact team productivity and sprint goals.
Monitor sprint progress and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Release Managers, and engineering teams to support project planning and delivery.
Promote Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Track team metrics and help improve sprint predictability and delivery performance.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure alignment across technical teams.
Support release planning and assist with maintaining project roadmaps and schedules.
Encourage collaboration, transparency, and accountability across the development team.
