Job summary

Synergy Business Consulting, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery on enterprise-scale programs spanning financial operations and supply chain.

You will guide teams through high-value initiatives, working with leadership that expects sharp facilitation and clear execution. The role requires 5+ years as Scrum Master or Agile Coach, ERP/large-scale project experience, and certifications (CSM/PSM).

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Scrum Master or Agile Coach on enterprise-scale initiatives
• Experience guiding teams through large ERP implementations, system integrations, or digital transformations
• CSM or PSM I/II certification
• Hands-on with Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne
• Knowledge of Waterfall or phase-gate methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Business Admin, or related field

Responsibilities

• Run sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews for one or more teams
• Coach Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile principles that stick
• Keep velocity, burn-down, and sprint goals visible and honest
• Bridge hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery models, including stage-gate governance
• Identify risks, dependencies, and impediments across multiple work streams
• Turn delivery status into insights leadership and SteerCo can act on

What You'll Own

What You Bring

Must-haves:

• 5+ years working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach on enterprise-scale initiatives

• Hands-on comfort with Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne
• Working knowledge of Waterfall or phase-gate methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Nice-to-haves:

• Background in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, or finance
• Exposure to Financial Operations programs (AP/invoice processing, financial close, audit-related tech)
• Exposure to Supply Chain programs (procurement, materials management, or ERP-integrated planning platforms like SAP MM/WM, Kinaxis, or GEP)
• Advanced certifications such as SAFe Agilist (SA), SPC, CSP-SM, A-CSM, or ICP-ACC
• Track record supporting initiatives valued at $50M or more
