Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to drive cross‑team delivery within our Technology organization in Provo, Utah. You will run ceremonies, sharpen planning, and remove obstacles to ensure predictable sprint completion.

In this hands‑on facilitation role, you’ll partner with engineering managers, coach teams, and help implement consistent practices that improve velocity and sprint predictability across multiple squads.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Scrum Master, agile coach, or delivery lead on software teams.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies for multiple teams.
• Fluency with Jira or a comparable reporting tool used by leadership.
• Ability to influence without authority and coach engineers and managers.
• Strong written communication; comfortable with asynchronous work.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint ceremonies across multiple engineering teams.
• Remove impediments and surface blockers requiring escalation.
• Provide delivery visibility on velocity, cycle time, and sprint predictability.
• Coach engineers and product partners to improve delivery practices.
• Help define cadence and definition of done; drive continuous improvement.

Document how each one actually plans today and where sprints break downDays 30–60: Establish consistent ceremony cadence and a shared definition of done.
