Job summary

Veritis Group Inc in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach to guide delivery teams in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong Excel analytics, BI skills, coding capabilities, and AI-assisted workflows to drive data-driven decisions and productivity.

You will lead Scrum rituals, mentor teams, partner with Product Owners, and foster continuous improvement while communicating progress and risks to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or a related field.
• 5+ years as Scrum Master/Agile Coach/PO in software.
• Strong Agile understanding: Scrum, Kanban, Lean.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics across platforms.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboards and reports.
• Coding skills in at least one language or scripting.
• CSM or PSM certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Apply coding skills to support analysis, automation, visualization, or technical understanding.
• Leverage AI tools to improve team efficiency, automate tasks, and enhance analysis.
• Use Power BI to build and maintain dashboards, reports, and delivery metrics.
• Coach and mentor teams on Scrum practices, Agile principles, and self-organization.
• Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and delivery planning.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments affecting team performance or delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability.
• Provide regular status reports, metrics, and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams to discuss implementation, dependencies, and risks.
• Support Agile transformation through training and coaching.
• Bridge communication between business, product, and technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Product Owner, or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Strong Excel analytical skills, including the ability to work with data, metrics, and reporting to drive decision-making.
• Practical experience using AI tools across platforms to improve productivity, workflow, and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization.
• Coding skills in one or more languages or scripting environments preferred.
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships, foster teamwork, and influence without authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other project management platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting cybersecurity, software engineering, or technology delivery teams.
