Job summary

VeeAR Projects Inc. is seeking a Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader for one or more project teams within a government/judicial tech environment. You will facilitate Scrum events, remove impediments, and promote agile practices to improve delivery outcomes.

You will coach the team and stakeholders, enable effective collaboration, and help scale agile practices across multiple teams while maintaining high standards of communication and transparency.

Qualifications

• Experience serving as Scrum Master or agile coach within a government or judicial branch technology environment.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent Scrum teams or working within a scaled agile framework (SAFe).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional agile facilitation or Scrum Master experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) and remove impediments to team delivery.
• Promote and support agile practices and Scrum principles across teams and stakeholders.
• Coach the Product Owner, development team, and stakeholders to improve collaboration and performance.
• Collaborate with business staff, technical staff, and end users to ensure alignment and value delivery.
• Foster transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team and organization.

Education Required:

Minimum education and/or experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of professional experience facilitating agile or Scrum teams, or serving in a project coordination or Scrum Master capacity. Job related work experience may substitute for educational qualifications on a year for year basis. Specialized training, certifications, and/or other special requirements: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred.
