Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to enable high-performing Agile delivery across financial services programs in New York. You will facilitate core events, coach teams, and collaborate with Scrum Masters to optimize value flow and delivery velocity.

Ideal candidates bring deep Agile/Scrum expertise, strong facilitation and coaching skills, and experience guiding distributed teams through evolving delivery conditions.

Job description

The Scrum Master is responsible for enabling high performing Agile delivery across squads within financial services programs. The role ensures that teams operate with focus, transparency, and alignment to Agile principles. The Scrum Master promotes a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, predictable delivery, and consistent value realization. The position requires strong facilitation skills, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to coach teams toward higher maturity and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

The Scrum Master facilitates all core squad level events including daily stand ups, iteration planning, iteration reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring effective participation and outcomes that drive delivery momentum.

The role guides teams in removing impediments, resolving risks or dependencies, and improving flow, predictability, and delivery velocity.

It involves coaching team members in Agile practices, fostering collaboration, and challenging outdated methods to enhance performance, consistent with responsibilities described in the internal Scrum Master demand content.

The Scrum Master also collaborates with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to optimize delivery across the broader value stream, contributing to organizational agility and alignment.

The role maintains delivery readiness through structured preparation activities, supports Agile coaching programs, and ensures adherence to governance, tooling, and quality standards as outlined in enterprise Agile practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Agile delivery within financial services environments.

Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks, strong facilitation skills, and proven ability to guide teams through complex or evolving delivery conditions are essential.

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in coaching teams at varying maturity levels, improving delivery flow, and cultivating a servant leadership culture that encourages ownership and continuous learning.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem solving abilities are required, along with experience working across distributed teams.

Familiarity with Agile tooling, metrics, and readiness activities, including structured training and coaching plans as used in financial services Scrum Master onboarding initiatives, is expected.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with scaled Agile environments, enterprise governance, and cross squad program delivery is beneficial.

Exposure to financial services regulatory processes, program increment planning, value stream alignment, and continuous improvement frameworks strengthens the profile.

Certifications in Scrum or Agile leadership add value.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $33.35/hour - $52.12/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
