Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in Agile technology delivery.
  • Five or more years of experience in Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) teams.
  • Understand the various Agile frameworks, events and artifacts (i.e. Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to utilize Agile methods in a flexible manner with traditional project management.

  • Embrace the Agile mindset and champion Agile across the Technology organization.
  • Provide creative solutions to Agile transformation issues and conflicting priorities.
  • Manage and facilitate team events including planning, backlog refinement, estimating, release planning, and retrospectives.

  • Coach teams and leaders in Agile principles, roles, and frameworks.
  • Foster a continuous improvement environment to build high-performing Agile teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Five or more years of experience in Agile technology delivery
  • Five or more years of experience in Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) teams
  • Understand the various Agile frameworks, events and artifacts (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), where they are fit for purpose and how to implement/apply with new and existing teams
  • Ability to utilize Agile methods in a flexible manner that often includes traditional project management which can include hard deadlines/fixed dates at times
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or similar certification a plus
  • Experience as an Agilist managing multiple teams simultaneously
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Dragonboat, MURAL
  • Experience with distributed teams, in multiple time zones
  • Experience with outcomes-based planning and delivery (i.e., OKR)
  • Experience successfully delivering solutions on an aggressive schedule
  • Understanding fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles, and practices and Scaled Agile frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution)
  • Demonstrated growth mindset
  • A passion for mentoring and growing the potential of others
  • Positive attitude and ability to inspire the team toward continuous improvement
  • Ability to drive delivery and take initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and communicate effectively with non-technical team members, resolving contradictory objectives, and unifying teams
  • Ability to partner with Product, Tech, UX and other disciplines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
