Job summary

Custom Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile software delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will coach teams, facilitate ceremonies, and help remove impediments to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Scrum Master roles, deep knowledge of SAFe/Kanban/LeSS, SDLC/SADLC, and hands-on Azure DevOps. Strong stakeholder communication and cross-department collaboration are essential.

Job description

REQUIRED:

• 7+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile methodologies (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, or similar).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), secure application development lifecycle (SADLC), and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps Agile lifecycle management tools.
• Associate's degree or higher.

PREFERRED:

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), CSM, PSM I/II, ICP-Client, or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with debt collection/servicing systems, payment processing workflows, or financial case management platforms.
• Experience supporting Quality Assurance processes including regression, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation.

Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role. The individual working in this position will be working in a cross-departmental environment. The ideal candidate should have an extremely strong Project Manager background with leading teams and negotiating with various Stakeholders and department heads.
