Job summary

SpringbokIT is seeking a Scrum Master who is passionate about helping software teams deliver high-quality products. You will coach several delivery teams within an Agile framework, fostering servant leadership and self-organization to maximize value for customers.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, monitor KPIs in Azure DevOps, and partner with stakeholders to balance feature work and technical debt, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• CSM certification from Scrum Alliance.
• One additional certification (e.g., A-CSM, CSP, PSM II) preferred.
• 3+ years delivering software at enterprise scale or SaaS.
• 3+ years as Scrum Master with Agile practices in technology.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams.

Job description

We're looking for a Scrum Master who is passionate about helping teams ship high-quality software that delivers real value to customers. This person will coach several software delivery teams operating within an Agile framework, bringing strong servant-leadership, organizational, and motivational skills to the role. The Scrum Master will partner closely with Scrum Teams to help them reach their full potential and grow their capacity for self-organization, while leading delivery teams that support both internal and external customers through the Agile/Scrum methodology.

Facilitate Agile delivery and team growth

• Coach and guide teams through Scrum events, reinforcing the Scrum Values as outlined in the official Scrum Guide
• Support multiple Scrum teams in consistently delivering product increments to customers
• Act as a champion of the Scrum framework, ensuring teams adhere to its values and practices
• Mentor development teams and the broader organization on Agile best practices, helping select the right process fit (Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid approach)
• Plan and run all core Scrum ceremonies — daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
• Compile reporting and analysis on team goals and key performance indicators

Support platform and application delivery

• Assist with change management processes for updates to the organization's core business applications and environments
• Help weigh the trade-off between addressing technical debt and delivering new feature work
• Track work in Azure DevOps to keep Product Backlog Items, Bugs, Spikes, additional work items, and interrupts properly prioritized and moving toward completion
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and bring forward recommendations
• Participate in the organization's continual improvement initiatives to help maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 compliance, following Quality Policy procedures and supporting QMS/ISMS objectives
• Promptly report any information related to security issues, incidents, or potential security risks to the appropriate internal team or supervisor
• Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential from Scrum Alliance
• One additional certification preferred: A-CSM, CSP, PSM II or higher, PSPO II or higher, A-CSPO or higher, SPS, PAL, or CAL
• 3+ years of experience managing software delivery at an enterprise scale or within a comparable SaaS environment
• 3+ years working specifically as a Scrum Master, with solid grounding in Agile practices in the technology sector
• Track record serving as Scrum Master across multiple engineering teams simultaneously
• Strong understanding of software development and testing best practices
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps to manage and prioritize backlogs
• Lean methodology credentials a plus (Lean Startup, Six Sigma, Kanban, etc.)
