Job summary

Jobtailor in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile teams delivering GenAI solutions for the Property & Casualty insurance domain. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove blockers, and partner with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to align on goals and outcomes.

This role emphasizes servant leadership, DevOps understanding, and strong risk management to ensure on-time releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on Property & Casualty insurance projects.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and release management.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
Gen AI experience preferred.
PMI-ACP / SAFe certifications preferred.
Knowledge of DevOps, GitHub, Rally; hands-on with DevOps tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Property & Casualty insurance projects
Proven track record of managing technical projects and leading Agile teams
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and release management
Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
Experience in the Insurance Industry very strongly preferred
Gen AI experience preferred
Advanced certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of DevOps, GitHub, Rally, non-prod and prod environments preferred
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices preferred
