Job summary

Advansys is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to guide multiple Agile teams in delivering critical software solutions. You will serve as a servant leader, coach teams, and coordinate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Release Managers in a global Scrum-of-Scrums environment.

You will promote Agile values, remove blockers, track performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master leading multiple Agile teams.
• Experience in Scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus) is required.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) is required; SAFe/Advanced Scrum Master is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies for multiple Scrum teams including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Scrum and SAFe to improve delivery maturity.
• Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs and align with business goals.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and Release Managers to manage scope, velocity and commitments.
• Coordinate Scrum-of-Scrums to manage inter-team dependencies.
• Identify and remove impediments and escalate issues as needed.
• Track metrics like velocity, burndown, and cycle time to drive continuous improvement.
• Support organizational Agile transformation initiatives and DevOps/CI-CD practices where applicable.

• Collaborate with Developers QA Analysts and Release Managers to manage scope velocity and team commitments
• Actively participate in a Scrum-of-Scrums coordinating with other Scrum Masters to manage inter-team dependencies and alignment
• Remove impediments that impact team progress and elevate issues when appropriate
• Track team metrics such as velocity burndown charts and cycle time and use data to drive continuous improvement
• Support organizational Agile transformation initiatives and help promote Agile values across the enterprise
• Guide teams in implementing DevOps and CI CD practices where applicable

Education

4 year college degree related to Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or similar work experience in similar environment.

Knowledge and Experience

3 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with demonstrated success in leading multiple Agile teams. Practical experience in Scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus), particularly within a Scrum-of-Scrums context. Proven ability to build strong relationships with Product Owners, Developers, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Deep understanding of Agile metrics and how to apply them to optimize team performance. Expertise with Agile tools such as Jira (Server), Confluence, or similar platforms. Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) required; SAFe Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master certification preferred.
