Job summary

Aptino, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile development, remove impediments, and help cross-functional teams deliver high-quality software on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, SAFe, Kanban, and excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. You will lead ceremonies, coach teams, manage dependencies, track metrics, and support release planning across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, SAFe, Kanban, and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience managing multiple Scrum teams is preferred.
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience working with distributed/global teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings.
• Serve as a servant leader and Agile coach for Scrum teams.
• Remove impediments and proactively identify risks that may impact sprint delivery.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
• Ensure the team follows Scrum principles, Agile practices, and organizational standards.
• Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown/burnup charts, and other Agile metrics.
• Help teams improve their productivity, collaboration, and delivery through continuous improvement.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure stories are properly prepared for upcoming sprints.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams and coordinate their resolution.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and best practices.
• Support release planning and coordination across multiple Agile teams when required.
• Communicate sprint status, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress to management and stakeholders.
• Help create an environment of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
