Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Scrum Master or Agile roles.
• Experience facilitating Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks.
• Locals only; able to work onsite 3 days/week in Charlotte, NC.
• Strong ability to remove impediments and manage dependencies.
• Excellent collaboration with Product Owner and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile scrum, kanban, and scaling standards and practices for product delivery.
• Facilitate backlog refinement with the product owner to ensure sprint goals are clear.
• Maintain Jira hygiene and support automated time tracking.
• Identify and manage intra-product and inter-product dependencies efficiently.
• Coach delivery teams to follow Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Scaling practices and improve velocity.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.

Role Description

The scrum master is responsible for making sure agile delivery teams work effectively by guiding them to follow Agile principles, standard, and best practices. Scrum Masters are responsible for removing impediments, managing dependencies, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Agile Process Excellence

Responsible for facilitating agile scrum, kanban, and scaling standards and best practices in support of product delivery

Partners with product owner

to ensure the continuous refinement of backlog, and that sprint goals are understood by the team(s)

Drive

Jira Hygiene in support of Automated Time Tracking

Identify and manage

intra-product and inter-product dependencies effectively

Coach Delivery Teams

Coach / Train / Guide the scrum team(s) to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Scaling practices

Uses empirical data to help the team(s) assess their ‘Agile Maturity’, optimize scrum team velocity to organizational KPIs and drive continuous improvement to achieve higher levels of team performance

Remove Impediments & Manage Dependencies

Proactively removes impediments to team agility and guide team(s) on methods to escape when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers

Identify and manage intra-product and inter-product dependencies effectively

Stakeholder Collaboration

Drive cross-functional collaboration
