Job summary

American Airlines in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Scrum Lead to drive agile practices across multiple teams. You will coach teams, promote empirical planning, and help remove impediments to accelerate value delivery.

You will partner with Product Owners, facilitate events, and mentor teams on Professional Scrum while maintaining transparency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• 4+ years of relevant agile experience.
• Experience coaching agile methodologies to teams and stakeholders.
• Skills in servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Proven ability to promote a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in an agile environment
• Experience coaching agile methodologies to team and stakeholders
• Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
• Proven ability to promote a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage product backlog and iteration
• Experience with driving adoption of Agile methodologies, processes and tools in a cross-functional organization
• Superior analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with continuous integration/delivery
• Participation in scaled agile frameworks

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SSM, or other scrum certification)
