Job summary

Scale Computing is seeking a Field Solutions Scrum Master to support two pods of Solutions Architects delivering edge infrastructure projects for enterprise retail and convenience customers. You will run ceremonies, manage intake, and maintain Jira for leadership priorities.

You will partner with pod leads and PMs on pilots, rollouts, migrations, and customer milestones, while tracking flow metrics to drive improvements and ensuring blockers are resolved promptly. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Scrum Master or delivery lead for technical teams.
• Experience Kanban with unplanned work; not just feature-team Scrum.
• Strong Jira administration: workflows, boards, fields, dashboards, reporting.
• Experience facilitating multiple teams/pods concurrently.
• Clear written and verbal communication; executive status updates.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite engagements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily standups, replenishment, triage, retrospectives, and flow reviews for both pods.
• Own intake and triage: ensure new work is scoped, categorized, prioritized, and routed.
• Manage Jira workspace: board hygiene, workflow states, epics, and task structure.
• Make unplanned work visible and track cost of escalations and context switching.
• Track flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, aging WIP) to drive improvements.
• Follow up on blocked items daily and keep stakeholders informed of dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-pod dependencies for shared tooling and platform changes.
• Collaborate with project managers on pilots, rollouts, and migrations.
• Support pod leads with capacity views and early warning on at-risk work.
• Ensure retrospective actions are completed, not just recorded.
