Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Scrub Technician to assist in the operating room under surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses. You will prepare the room and surgical equipment and support patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited surgical technician program; CPR or CST certification is preferred. This part-time position offers a day shift and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a surgical technician accredited program required.
• CPR certification or equivalent; Certification (CST) preferred.
• Previous OR experience preferred.
• Good basic clinical skills in delivering care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating/procedure room and surgical equipment.
• Assist with passing tools to surgeons during an operation and help control equipment.
• Assist with safe transfer and positioning of the patient.
• Participate in time-out and emergency procedures as required.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
