Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical background.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Use and be familiar with measuring tools.
• Read and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more screw machines.
• Read blueprints.
• Set up machines for different parts and maintain setup times.
• Sharpen tools.
• Read micrometers and calipers.
• Inspects and checks quality of work as directed by foreman.
• Maintain production efficiency.
• Clean and lubricate assigned machines.
