Job summary

RBC Precision Products - Bremen, Inc. is seeking a shift supervisor focused on the production and quality of SMD machines. You will follow stringent process instructions for SMD parts and collaborate with the shift supervisor on repairs, tooling, and materials to sustain efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the screw machine department and ensuring guards and safety equipment are functional, with additional duties as assigned to support operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years: Experience with Cam driven & Swiss Lathes; manual lathes/mills would be a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for production and quality of SMD machines.
• Follow process instructions for SMD parts.
• Provide the shift supervisor with repair, tooling and raw material recommendations.
• Provide the shift supervisor with recommendations to improve the efficiency and quality of the screw machine department.
• Keep the screw machine department (including chip-spinner) clean at all times.
• Ensure all machine guards and safety equipment are installed and in working order at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR PRODUCTION AND QUALITY OF SMD MACHINES.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR FOLLOWING PROCESS INSTRUCTIONS AS THEY PERTAIN TO SMD PARTS.

PROVIDE THE SHIFT SUPERVISOR WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REPAIRS, TOOLING, AND NECESSARY RAW MATERIALS.

PROVIDE THE SHIFT SUPERVISOR WITH RECOMMENDATIONS TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY AND QUALITY OF THE SCREW MACHINE DEPARTMENT.

RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING SCREW MACHINE DEPARTMENT (INCLUDING CHIP-SPINNER) CLEAN AT ALL TIMES.

ENSURE ALL MACHINE GUARDS AND OTHER SAFETY EQUIPMENT ARE INSTALLED AND IN WORKING ORDER AT ALL TIMES.

PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
