Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Checkpoint Specialist in Columbus, OH. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening individuals and belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Qualifications

• 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation under applicable laws.
• Background/history checks will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, students, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals entering designated locations, verify credentials, and direct visitors as appropriate.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect bags, packages, and items according to procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency personnel.
• Maintain logs and reports related to screening, activity, incidents, and shift tasks.
