This position works out of our Valparaiso, IN territory within the Cancer Diagnostics business. Abbott's Cancer Diagnostics business was established through the acquisition of Exact Sciences', bringing together Abbott's global diagnostics leadership with Exact Sciences' expertise in cancer screening and diagnostic testing. Together, we're advancing the early detection of cancer and improving outcomes for patients through innovative, accessible testing solutions. Our combined portfolio and reach allow us to bring life‑changing diagnostic technology to more patients, providers, and health systems worldwide. As a Screening Sales Representative, you'll play a frontline role in advancing colorectal cancer screening by partnering with healthcare providers to increase adoption of Cologuard® and other diagnostic solutions. You'll build trusted customer relationships, identify opportunities to improve patient care, and drive business growth through strategic account management, clinical education, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of Cologuard while achieving sales objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and other key stakeholders by identifying unmet needs and delivering value‑based diagnostic solutions. Analyze local healthcare markets, customer data, and account insights to identify opportunities that improve patient outcomes and enhance the system of care. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Screening Advocates, Sales Operations, and Area Managers to implement customer‑specific business strategies and maximize account success. Accurately document customer interactions, sales activities, market intelligence, and pipeline development within CRM while maintaining the highest ethical, quality, and compliance standards.
The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
