Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Mammography certification required.
• Minimum 6 months related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms following established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensures proper positioning of patients to obtain accurate, high-quality imaging.
• Evaluates images for technical quality and identifies need for repeat imaging when necessary.
• Maintains patient records accurately, documenting procedures and observations.
• Provides education and reassurance to patients regarding the mammography process.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Assists radiologists in additional breast imaging procedures as needed.
• Participates in quality control programs and continuing education to maintain credentialing and competency.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to optimize patient care and workflow.
