Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK seeks a Mammography Tech for day-shift and PRN coverage in the radiology department. You will deliver high-quality breast imaging, ensure patient safety, and assist radiologists with timely clinical decisions.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT Mammography certification, plus knowledge of breast anatomy and radiation safety. BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography.
• Knowledge of mammography procedures, breast anatomy, and radiation safety principles.
• Skill in operating mammography and breast imaging equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of mammography experience in a healthcare setting.
• Certification in digital breast tomosynthesis.
• Knowledge of advanced breast imaging technologies and workflows.
• Skill in supporting breast interventional procedures.
• Ability to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient experience goals.
