Job summary

Position Summary

Prints lettering and designs with screen printing device on formed or machined configuration mostly of plastic materials. Set up screen fixture to repeat during a production run. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.

• Operate basic screen print table
• Cleans screen with solvent at end of run and when using different colors.
• Examines printed object for defects.
• Teaches and instructs junior members of department on best practices
• Capable of setting up and screen printing both metal and plastic product (in the flat or bent form)
• Understands how screen print defects are created in the process and how to turn them on/off; for example, stray ink, faded image, bold image
• Examines printed object for defects.
• All other duties assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Credentials/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years as a screen printer I

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English
• Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
• Ability toidentify cosmetic defects
