From The Ashes in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lead Screen Printer to take full ownership of the screen print department. You will run presses, lead the team, and ensure on-time delivery.

This hands-on leadership role requires a minimum of 3 years of automatic press experience, strong knowledge of inks and curing, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume operation. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 with performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3 years of screen printing experience on automatic presses.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of inks, curing, mesh counts, and print techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust on the fly.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee automatic screen printing presses (ROQ experience preferred).
• Manage daily production schedule and workflow
• Lead and train press operators and assistants
• Ensure print quality, color accuracy, and consistency across runs
• Troubleshoot print issues (registration, ink flow, curing, etc.)
• Coordinate with pre-press and sales teams on job readiness
• Maintain production efficiency and meet deadlines
• Monitor inventory (inks, screens, consumables)
• Implement and improve SOPs and processes
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper upkeep

Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead Screen Printer to take full ownership of our screen print department. This role is responsible for managing production, leading the press team, and ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time.

This is a hands‑on leadership role—you will be running presses, managing people, and owning output.
