Job summary

Coastland Group in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Screen Press Operator to join our growing apparel production team. You will repair, run, and operate the printing machinery to manage the entire production line according to job specifications.

Responsibilities include adjusting presses, installing ink rollers, testing inks, handling production, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and keeping the press clean.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of basic printing technologies.
• Excellent physical strength and stamina.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to stand 8+ hours a day.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders and adjust the printing machine.
• Install parts such as ink rollers, screens, plates and stencils.
• Test inks and paints on printing surface.
• Run production: printing and racking to meet specifications.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
• Clean the printing press and peripherals.
