Job summary

Plasticard Locktech International in Asheville, NC seeks a Silk Screen Operator to perform screen printing, stencil prep, ink loading, and equipment maintenance. You will record work history and ensure production targets are met.

Responsibilities include color matching, ticket verification, and quality checks throughout runs, plus multi-step screen making and safe operation of equipment. Overtime may be required to meet orders.

Qualifications

• Three years of prior experience in offset printing and prep work.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Degree in art or graphic design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Print with repeatable results, anticipating and fixing issues with ink and press.
• Verify job ticket information including ink color matching.
• Perform quality checks throughout the run.
• Ensure proper quantity printed before cleanup for the next job.
• Embrace multi-step screen making: stretching, selection, degreasing, coating, exposure and washout.
• Operate safely and perform duties as assigned by management.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
