Job summary

CRH Mountain Companies in Kentucky is seeking a crew member to operate asphalt pavers and control screed extensions for highways and driveways. The role requires teamwork, physical stamina, and strict adherence to safety and PPE policies.

Union position with potential eligibility for local Steelworkers Union. CDL preferred and background checks required. Regular long shifts and possible out-of-town assignments are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate asphalt paver ensuring proper depth, grade and finish according to plan.
• CDL preferred and willingness to obtain if required.
• Must pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paver and control screed to achieve correct depth and grade.
• Coordinate with crew to apply asphalt per specifications and meet daily schedules.
• May use hand tools to complete tasks and adjust screed extensions as needed.
• Maintain PPE and safe work practices on site.
