Job summary

Mountain Enterprises, a Mountain Companies division, is seeking a Screed Operator in Harlan, KY to support asphalt paving across highways and private roads. You will operate the screed controls on the asphalt paver to ensure proper depth, grade and finish, and coordinate with the crew to meet daily schedules.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred; and about 2 years of road construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Crew member essential to the application of asphalt on highways/private roadways/parking lots/ and driveways through the operation of screed controls.
• Operation of asphalt paver making adjustments to obtain proper depth and grade of asphalt via screed extensions.
• May be required to use hand tools to complete the job.
