Job summary

Plum Market Corporation seeks a competitive Hot Line Cook to prepare and present high-quality, scratch-made foods in the Prepared Foods Department. You will thrive on a fast-paced kitchen, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to a positive team culture with strong communication.

You will follow standardized recipes, work with supervisors to manage production, and support peak periods with energy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of culinary fundamentals and cooking techniques.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen or food production setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper product rotation.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guides.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for the showcase, cold bar, catering, and grab & go according to recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, labeling, and rotation at all times.
• Ensure food is cooked and held at proper temperatures and textures.
• Monitor prep levels and communicate production needs to leadership.
• Follow sanitation protocols, wear gloves, label products, and log safety data.
• Support teammates during peak times and help maintain kitchen flow.
• Communicate with team members, customers, store leadership, and directors.
