Responsibilities

• Mixing, scaling, proofing, baking, frying, and finishing bakery items as directed.
• Knowledge of fermentation, bench time, proofing, and temperature effects on bakery items.
• Assist in ordering bakery ingredients and maintain inventory.
• Fill, rotate, arrange and merchandise displays and display cases.
• Knowledge of pricing, dating, wrapping or bagging bakery products.
• Be proactive on self-development for additional duties.
• Comply with safety policies and report all accidents.
• Clean and sanitize bakery areas and equipment.
• Maintain department equipment and request repairs when needed.
