Job summary

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. is seeking a dependable Scrap Yard Utility in Bridgeville, PA. The role supports Melt Shop operations by recording incoming materials, maintaining inventory, and coordinating material movement within the yard.

Ideal candidates are organized, safety-minded, and comfortable around heavy equipment. Training will be provided as they advance from Utility to the posted title.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training provided for department-specific tasks.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record incoming Melt Shop materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for Melt Shop materials.
• Weight specified amounts of scrap metal and load into charging buckets.
• Direct and coordinate activities of the Scrap Yard crane.
• Maintain organized material storage areas and safe work practices.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Communicate material or operational concerns to supervisor.
