Job summary

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. in Bridgeville, PA seeks a reliable Melt Shop Utility worker to support ingot production in a heavy industrial setting.

You will assist with materials prep, pouring and molding operations, and operate or learn cranes, forklifts, and related equipment. This safety-sensitive 12-hour rotating shift role offers hands-on training, a pathway to more advanced responsibilities, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• On-the-job training provided for equipment and department-specific processes.
• Safety-focused with strong attention to procedures.
• Experience in heavy industrial production preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators with the production of steel ingots.
• Prepare raw materials and equipment for production.
• Assist with pouring and molding operations.
• Move materials using cranes and forklifts/tow motors.
• Use measuring and inspection tools as required.
• Follow work instructions and production requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Assist with equipment preparation and changeovers.
• Identify and report equipment or production issues to supervision.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
