Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a laborer to work in a scrap metal yard in Georgia. The role involves loading/unloading materials, sorting, disassembly of small parts, and operating yard equipment.

Candidates should be able to perform physical tasks, follow safety rules, and communicate effectively in English, with English/Spanish bilingual skills considered a plus. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, following health and safety regulations, and assisting with basic maintenance

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand direction, plus basic math skills.
• Willingness to learn sorting metal and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets, boxes, and bundles.
• Sort and handle materials; push, pull, lift, and fill hoppers and conveyor belts.
• Unpacking boxes and removing packaging materials.
• Disassemble small equipment and remove bolts; work with metal and appliance parts.
• Operate and maintain recycling yard equipment and PPE.
• Direct traffic of yard vehicles and maintain a clean, safe work area.
