Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a General Laborer to support scrap metal processing in a outdoor yard setting. Duties include unloading pallets and handling materials, sorting tasks, and assisting technicians. The role emphasizes learning, safety, and teamwork.

Ideal candidates may have a HS diploma or GED, be willing to learn new skills on the job, and pass pre-employment drug and background checks. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable.
• Bi-lingual English & Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unloading pallets, boxes, and bundles.
• Material handling, sorting, and moving items.
• Unpacking boxes and separating packaging materials.
• Disassembling small equipment and assisting with repairs.
• Operate or assist with recycling equipment for processing metal products.
• Light facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Keep work areas neat, organized and safe.
