What You'll Do

• First point of contact in the yard - directs customers and deliveries
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Champion a strong culture of safety throughout all warehouse operations
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
• Demonstrate dependability through consistent attendance and timely completion of work
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Use warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) to complete daily tasks
• Keep track of ticketed materials, properly identify vehicles and persons, and obtain required legal documentation of customers
• Assess weigh materials inbound and outbound into process area, and price tickets
• Accurate identification of material to assign correct value
• Provide customer service, ensure customers specs and contract requirements are fulfilled
• Accurate record keeping of contracts and deliveries
• Assess by grade accurate weight of material orders and issue supplies for visitors and customers entering the yard
• Walk up customer service: driver's license or accurate documentation & back-up for materials sold

What You'll Need

• Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• At least 2 years of experience in a storeroom or warehouse environment
• Understanding of inventory control systems, policies, and procedures
• Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of storeroom operations

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
