Job summary
SA Recycling is seeking a dedicated Crane Operator to safely operate hydraulic grapples or magnetic cranes for loading, unloading, and moving scrap metal in outdoor conditions. You will follow written and verbal instructions, perform daily equipment inspections, and coordinate with truck drivers to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED certification, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to carry out instructions provided in written or oral form.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate a grapple or magnetic crane to lift, sort, load or unload scrap metal and debris.
- Determine load weights and verify against lifting capacities.
- Manipulate hydraulic grapple or magnet crane within safe operational parameters.
- Perform daily inspections and report concerns, defects or needed repairs.
- Direct truck drivers into proper position for loading or unloading of scrap metal.
