You will balance the cash drawer, generate invoices, and support related office functions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while delivering excellent customer service and handling multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, plus organizational and time management skills.
• Mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn industry-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Process all records and documentation for payment of purchased scrap metal.
• Calculate daily transactions using computerized systems and balance cash drawer daily.
• Generate invoices, itemized lists and tickets; verify weights, prices and totals.
• Assist customers with pricing questions and material types; maintain customer accounts.
• Provide relief/work with Office Assistant and Weighmaster as needed.
• Support monthly closing reporting and inventory reconciliation.
