SA Recycling LLC in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking an energetic Cashier to join our yard team. You will handle payments, process transactions, and keep accurate records while delivering friendly customer service.

This role requires working outdoors in varying weather, light office duties, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate communicates well, is organized, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pass drug test, background check, and credit check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process payments and complete paperwork for customers.
• Balance cash drawer and calculate daily transactions.
• Generate invoices, itemize materials, and verify weights and prices.
• Assist customers with pricing questions and material types.
• Provide relief/back-up duties for Office Assistant and Weighmaster.
• Assist with monthly closing and inventory reconciliation.

SA Recycling is looking for an energetic and highly organized individual to join our team as a Cashier. The Cashier plays an important customer service role within the yard by providing timely, friendly, accurate and safe services to our customers. The Cashier is responsible for processing payments and completing the required paperwork for our individual as well as commercial customers. The Cashier will also perform basic office duties as needed.

This position may require you to work intermittently outside in varying weather conditions, and SA Recycling strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

The working hours for this position are from 7:00am to 3:30/4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Saturday until 12:30pm

Responsibilities of a Cashier:

• Complete all required records and documentation for payment of purchased scrap metal into the proper systems.
• Calculate daily transactions using computerized programs and balance cash drawer at the end of the day.
• Generate invoices, itemize lists and tickets noting materials and amounts due, verify weights, prices, and extensions.
• Assist current and potential customers with questions regarding the pricing of materials, the types of materials accepted, and maintenance of customer accounts.
• Provide relief and/or backup duties for the Office Assistant and Weighmaster.
• Assists with monthly closing reporting, and with inventory reconciliation as needed.

Qualifications for the Cashier

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must pass a medical physical and drug test
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass Credit Check
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn industry specific software.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus.
