Job summary

SA Recycling in the United States is seeking a detail‑oriented Cashier to handle scrap metal payments, balance the cash drawer, and generate invoices. You’ll assist customers with pricing questions and maintain accurate records in our systems.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; a post‑offer background check is required.

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete all records for payment of purchased scrap metal.
• Calculate daily transactions and balance cash drawer daily.
• Generate invoices and verify weights, prices, and extensions.
• Assist customers with pricing questions and material types.
• Provide relief for Office Assistant and Weighmaster.
• Support monthly closing and inventory reconciliation.
