Job summary

SA Recycling is looking for a Cashier to handle transactions of purchased scrap metal and assist customers with their inquiries. Responsibilities include balancing cash drawers, generating invoices, and supporting office operations.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and excels in a fast-paced environment, showcasing excellent customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office and ability to learn specific software.
• Bilingual language skills (English & Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete required records and documentation for payment of scrap metal.
• Calculate daily transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Generate invoices and verify prices and weights.
• Assist customers with questions regarding pricing and materials.
• Provide backup duties for Office Assistant and Weighmaster.
• Assist with monthly reporting and inventory reconciliation.
