Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a weighmaster/receiver to oversee loading, unloading and weighing of scrap and alloy materials. You will coordinate shipments, prepare BARs, and maintain logs while ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs.

You will act as liaison across departments, assist in training staff, and support continuous improvements in raw material services. On-site role with equipment operation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Leadership and teamwork abilities demonstrated in a shift environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and SOPs for material handling.

Responsibilities

• Directs loading, unloading and weighing of all incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.
• Schedules carriers and completes shipping/receiving transactions with proper documentation.
• Maintains daily equipment inspection logs and coordinates mobile equipment deployment.
• Serves as scrap yard contact for internal/external customers and suppliers.
• Assists in training new staff on Raw Material Services processes.
