Job summary

Niles Iron & Metal is seeking a Scrap Crane Operator to support yard operations at 700 S Main St, Niles, OH. You will sort scrap materials, operate E-crane or crawler crane to load trucks and balers, and move equipment across the yard while maintaining efficient material flow.

Requirements include 2+ years of crane experience, knowledge of scrap metal types, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience operating mobile or crawler cranes (Liebherr/Sennebogen/Link-Belt).
• Knowledge of scrap metal types and grading.
• High school diploma or GED; GEDWorks program offered.

Responsibilities

• Sort scrap materials by type and quality.
• Operate E-crane or crawler crane to load trucks, railcars, and balers.
• Move crane equipment throughout the yard as needed.
• Maintain material flow and assist safety procedures.
