Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Supply Chain Planning IT Architect to provide onsite technical expertise for SAP IBP, Snowflake, and related platforms. You will liaise between business stakeholders and offshore IT to ensure reliable, accurate data and continuous improvements across planning processes.

The role emphasizes integration design, data modeling, and collaboration with global IT teams to align with enterprise standards and enable AI/ML capabilities in Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, data modeling, and Supply Chain analytics.
• Experience designing and supporting complex system integration architectures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the onsite subject matter expert for Supply Chain Planning applications including SAP IBP, Snowflake, SCP AI in Snowflake, and SAP CIDS.
• Provide advanced production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for planning, forecasting, and inventory management processes.
• Design, support, and optimize integration architecture between SAP IBP, Snowflake, SAP CIDS, and related enterprise systems.
• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Serve as the primary onsite IT point of contact, coordinating work between business teams and offshore IT resources.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including data models, interface specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Review system performance and recommend enhancements to improve scalability, performance, and data quality.
• Support AI/ML-driven Supply Chain Planning capabilities built within Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global IT teams to ensure system interoperability and alignment with enterprise standards.
