Job summary

Syntax is seeking an IBP & PP/DS Consultant to design and deliver integrated SAP planning solutions for enterprise clients. You will translate supply chain planning requirements into scalable SAP IBP and PP/DS configurations, aligning with S/4HANA and APO integrations.

This role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to improve forecasting, planning accuracy, production efficiency, and supply chain responsiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SAP supply chain planning or related consulting
• Hands-on SAP IBP/PP/DS in implementations
• Strong knowledge of demand, supply, production planning and scheduling
• Experience leading workshops and gathering requirements
• Familiarity with SAP integration points across planning, manufacturing and supply chain
• Translate business needs into effective system solutions
• Experience with testing and go-live activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IBP and PP/DS solutions
• Gather requirements and map to SAP planning processes
• Facilitate workshops to define future-state design
• Configure planning functions across demand, supply, inventory, and production scheduling
• Support integration between SAP IBP, PP/DS, and related SAP modules
• Analyze planning data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
• Support testing activities including unit and integration testing
• Assist data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support
• Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and project managers
• Prepare functional documentation and training materials
• Troubleshoot planning issues and guide project implementation
• Contribute to standardization of planning processes
