Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Supply Chain Planning IT Architect to provide onsite technical leadership for SAP IBP, Snowflake, and related integration projects. You will collaborate with global IT and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, accurate data and scalable systems.

The role focuses on integrating SAP IBP with Snowflake data platforms, supporting AI-driven planning, and maintaining robust interfaces across enterprise systems on a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, data modeling, and Supply Chain analytics.
• Experience designing and supporting complex system integration architectures.
• Functional understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes including demand forecasting and inventory planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as the onsite subject matter expert for Supply Chain Planning applications including SAP IBP, Snowflake, SCP AI in Snowflake, and SAP CIDS.
• Provide advanced production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for planning, forecasting, and inventory management processes.
• Design, support, and optimize integration architecture between SAP IBP, Snowflake, SAP CIDS, and related enterprise systems.
• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Serve as the primary onsite IT point of contact, coordinating work between business teams and offshore IT resources.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including data models, interface specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Review system performance and recommend enhancements to improve scalability, performance, and data quality.
• Support AI/ML-driven Supply Chain Planning capabilities built within Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global IT teams to ensure system interoperability and alignment with enterprise standards.
