Job summary

City of Marietta is seeking a basketball scorekeeper to record scores and manage the game clock during league games at City facilities in Marietta, GA.

You will check the scoreboard before each game, notify officials of equipment problems, and keep a handwritten recap of scores and statistics.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the rules of basketball and proper time keeping procedures.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to communicate (in English) with children and adults.
• Skill in basic math (add, subtract, multiply whole numbers).
• Visual acuity to read scoreboard and official’s hand signals.
