The Scope Processing Technician III cleans and disinfects using high-level disinfection a variety of endoscopes and accessories. This expert role builds upon the skills and experience gained from a Scope Technician I and II. It includes maintaining proper function and integrity of all endoscopes and equipment in the processing room, completing tasks such as performing departmental quality assurance audits and documentation into the instrument management system, tracking data logs, ordering supplies through the supply chain process, coordinating repair of scopes and managing loaners with vendors, and serves as the primary preceptor for lower-level staff, providing guidance and training to new or existing scope technicians.
Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years endoscopic instrument processing experience required.
Candidate must hold at least two certifications.
Rotating Shift (11 am - 7:30 pm)
Minimum 23.54/hour - Maximum 38.54/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
