Salt & Straw is hiring Scoopers in San Diego to create memorable guest experiences. You will scoop ice cream, share flavor stories, work the register, and support daily shop operations while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 16+ years old and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in food service, retail, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create welcoming experiences for every guest.
• Share flavor stories, offer samples, and help guests discover their next scoop.
• Scoop ice cream, make waffle cones, operate the register, and support shop operations.
• Greet guests, answer questions, and help guide the flow of the shop.
• Process transactions and assist with online and delivery orders.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards across the shop.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to create a positive and supportive environment.
