Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc.—SCM Director, Demand Management—leads strategic forecast activities to minimize opportunity loss and cost across the supply chain. The role drives mid- and long-term demand planning, optimizes inventory for distribution, and collaborates with sales subsidiaries to guide strategic decisions.

As leader of the demand management function, you will oversee key materials planning, model lifecycle, and ensure robust supply alignment for new products and EOP phases

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 12+ years in Planning/Forecasting.
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands.
• Customer oriented with good judgment and collaborative problem solving.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Minimize sales opportunity loss and cost by strategic demand forecasting.
• Improve demand operation levels across subsidiaries through governed processes.
• Manage mid- and long-term demand planning to optimize inventory for distribution.
• Lead a professional team and mentor other members; oversee budget and HR considerations.
